Natural stone sealing, such as on marble, granite, slate, bluestone and other porous (absorbent) stone types, such as (aerate) concrete, sand-lime brick, masonry, brick and other porous building materials, such as untreated woods.

Properties

- Excellent adhesion, without primer on practically all and even damp surfaces.
- User-friendly and versatile for use in building and glazing constructions.
- Can be painted over with water-based paint systems.
- Meets the requirements for burglar-resistant glass, in accordance with the Police Quality Mark for Safe Living.
- Isocyanate, solvent, silicone-free.
- Good colourfast, UV, weather, water, moisture and ageing resistance.
- Non-corrosive to metals.
- Does not stain and/or bleed on porous stones and/or other materials.
- Odourless, adhesive, blister and shrink free curing, CE certified Hybrid System
Application conditions
- Processing temperature (ambient and substrate) between min. +5°C and max. +40°C.
- On clean, clean, dry, load bearing, compatible, dust- and grease-free surfaces.
- Ensuring the right joint dimensions to be able to absorb movements properly.
- Remove loose components from the surface using a suitable brush.
- Degrease surfaces thoroughly using Seal-it® 510 CLEANER.
- Seal-it® 318 FACADE PLUS has a broad adhesion spectrum, but highly porous surfaces should be pre-treated with Seal-it® 520 PRIMER and non-porous surfaces with minimal adhesion should be pre-treated with Seal-it® 525 Clean & Bond.
- Smooth and tight finish, using Seal-it® 550 FINISH, for skin formation.
